For lovers of Latin food, Las Iguanas needs no introduction. A high ceiling allows plenty of light to permeate the open-plan restaurant, whose industrial decor includes exposed venting and cheery light shades that hover overhead like flying saucers. A lunch menu runs till 6:30pm, ensuring that even late risers needn’t miss out on enchiladas, tacos and burgers, with prices starting from a very reasonable £6. The restaurant’s spicy chicken, marinated in a fiery sauce, comes highly recommended, though pretty much anything that’s fresh off the grill is sure to hit the spot. The full dinner menu includes a selection of Brazilian dishes such as Bahian coconut chicken and xinxim, featuring crayfish in a creamy lime and peanut sauce, which may give you cause to overlook the fajitas for once. Selected cocktails and coolers are on offer every single day, freshly shaken and stirred at the bar, where coffee and tapas can also be enjoyed.

Food is a lot better than you'd imagine, and the lunch menu is really good value. Also have a great kids menu, which is often free with a main meal.
